Time And Again is feature length fan-produced
episode of the greatest science fiction TV show ever: Doctor Who.
Initially finished in 1999, after filming for two years, Time And Again
premiered at the Rivoli Theater in La Crosse Wisconsin that Spring,
and was received well by the hundreds who showed up to this unique (and
free) event.
Since then, Time And Again has been seen all over the U.S, UK,
Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. It has been well received
in the SF fan community, and the tapes from duplication sites have been
circulating, on sometimes 4th or 5th generation VHS copies.
Now, due to fan desire to see a version on DVD, I have begun
a directors cut. What can be expected from this version is:
The best looking and sounding version of Time and Again,
cut from the best available sources, improved special effects, new material,
a new cut that softens some of the rough spots of the original.
When it is finished, a list of sites where you can obtain a copy
will be listed here. I’m also going to make the original version
of Time and Again available on DVD, from the original masters, with
little restoration (for the purists).

Almost Finished! In November of 08, the film hit the 90% mark
of completeness, enough to be viewed at the Chicago TARDIS Doctor Who
convention. But now, after almost 3 years of working on the "Special
Edition" of Time and Again, it is now nearly finished. I've received the
last of the CGI shots from the brilliant Graham Quince, and after 3 more
matte shots are received from the incomparable Velton Kyle Baker, the new
cut will be sent to England and put in the very capable hands of David
Nagel and DAM productions for the final sound mix and DVD programming.
The DVD will be available for download from Julian Smith, just
like the original cut, which is available now. And when it is, you should
expect the following:
- Doctor Who: Time And Again "Special Edition"
in its fullest glory.
- Audio Commentary by director Ryan Thorson,
actor/story writer Jeremiah Lynch, and film critic/Doctor Who enthusiast
J.E. Smith. Order Out of Chaos, the excellent documentary about Time
and Again (special cut, just for this DVD) by J.E. Smith.
- Deleted Scenes
- Photo Montage
- Dennis Sings the Beatles, a video taken from
a Doctor Who convention talent show in Chicago Illinois in1998.
Please take a look at the new posted pictures, and keep checking
the website for information on how you can obtain a copy of Doctor
Who: Time And Again "Special Edition".
